Had a lovely steak meal here. It was a busy night and service was quite slow although friendly. I do think it is slightly overpriced.

Had a very nice meal here last night-the starter was rather small for the price and monkfish main was simply superb but we felt the prices were top end for the type of restaurant

Great food, good service, a lovely environment. A goood wine list, a bit expensive compared to the local competition. Great for a special night out, or for a discounted early bird.

I recently had lunch in this restaurant. I was expecting something tasty and fresh. I was very disappointed. I ordered Monkfish for main course. It was a tiny tiny portion of fish that did not taste fresh and was greasy. The tiny amount of sauce which was meant to be jus was like a tasteless gravy. I cook a lot... More

The title above is the sub text of the Tuesday to Friday Summer Set Menu which we thoroughly enjoyed. The Blackwater No.5 gin cured salmon with fennel was excellent though small. The chargrilled pizzetta with caramelised onion etc was a very generous starter portion and really tasty. We both had the duck breast (nicely pink) which came with potato gratin,... More

Every item was well presented in this somewhat off-the-beaten-path restaurant. It is within walking distance of the Rayanne House and well worth the drive if you happen to be staying in Belfast proper. Nice house wine to pair with dinner and dessert was wonderful!

My husband and I came to Fontana's on the recommendation of the owner of the guesthouse we were staying at. So glad we did! The service was fantastic (something we didn't always find throughout our travels), the servers even took the time to answer questions I had about the type of beer that I ordered. My husband got the prix-fix... More

This was my second time going to Fontana and both times the food was just superb. Definitely one of the best places for food in Holywood.

The staff are well trained and very pleasant and attentive. The starters are a little small given the cost. The ambience is very pleasant and relaxing. You should give Fontana a visit.

Everything was perfect, from the subdued lighting, tasteful music and perfect hostess Elayne and our server Rachel, still sitting at table as I write this a must place to eat and even the capuchino at the last was devine
