I visited this evening with my family for the first time today and will return as the food was beautiful and the waiting staff were excellent. A great selection for vegetarians on the menu, which we were very pleased with as my son and I are both vegetarian. We both enjoyed our meals. Both my husband and mother also enjoyed... More

Had a lovely lunch here recently, I had never been before and was very impressed. The lunch menu is very good value, with good portion sizes. The cod goujons were delicious! They also had a good selection of desserts which, again, were a good size. I had the cheesecake and would recommend it. Will definitely be back.

Just popped in here during a weekend back home with the family based on the reviews. Great friendly service, big portions of quality food. Very accommodating with our requests and provided some sides on the house since we asked what they were!

I hadn't been to Coast for a long time, probably a few years. I visited on a Sunday, having rang ahead to make a booking. It's as well I did, as once we were seated- people just kept coming! Really popular spot. We were offered a Sunday specials menu. This was fantastic value for money. Two courses for £15. This... More

In the past i have always been a champion of this establishment but sadly my latest visit left a lot to be desired. As usual the staff were excellent but my problem was with the food. Both my father and i had mashed potatoes with two different meals and both found the potatoes to be extremely over seasoned not to the point... I arrived with three family members at 18:40 on a busy Friday evening. We had no reservation but the friendly staff found a table for us and made us feel very welcome. We availed of the Early Bird menu, which is available until 18:45. This offers very good value for 2 or 3 courses. My starter (carrot and orange soup)... More

Had a fab night out with friends, good food, great tastes, couldn't squeeze in a dessert (is that a complaint)... A wee bit on the pricey side given we all had 2 courses and it still worked out at more than £40 a head and we weren't overdoing the wine. Keep meaning to get back, friendly family atmosphere.

Went here for dinner. The staff are very friendly and have a team spirit that shows. The food I had (battered cod ) was very nice, and the side of onion rings was also excellent. I was surprised that chips came as an optional (paid for) extra with a dish they are part of! The cod was good however, although... More
