We had been looking forward to this all day because of the promise of excellent seafood. I had whitebait for starter which was very disappointing as it cam deep fried in breadcrumbs and was clearly a frozen product not fresh. I opted for the seafood salad which was no more than a few prawns, smoked salmon and crab with far too... More

We were recommended this place. It was just what we were looking for after a day traveling. It had such a varied menu, but very poor if your vegetarian. Loads of yummy deserts to choose from, they even had custard. A really nice place for dinner.

Our main meals were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. The bread & butter pudding was disappointing but I often find this so maybe I will choose something else in future. We were served promptly and the waitress was extremely smiley but there was a distinct lack of conversation or friendly welcome. I would say it is not a very friendly... More

We went twice in three days as it was so good. The service was a little varied between the two visits but on the slower service night, the waitress was very apologetic and it... More

The food here is excellent but not cheap. The setting is quaint with views out over the harbour, so why oh why do they use paper napkins?? The waitresses, whilst attentive and helpful, could do with some basic training regarding the setting out of cutlery. Our starter cutlery was brought to us and put inside the mains cutlery. Above average... More

We visited whilst staying close by on holiday, and had telephoned to request a table for two at 8 p.m. but were asked to come at 7.45pm. This was a surprise as on arrival there were a lot of available unreserved tables. The welcome had a slightly stiff and austere feeling to it, by whom we think was the lady... More
