Went here today with my friend for lunch food amazing home made chips to die for. It is quite a small place so I had booked a table. Staff so friendly only down was as venue so small my eyes were stinging from the cooking.

After being vegetarian for many years before finally transitioning to Vegan two years ago The Coven is my little piece of heaven for food. They cater for all tastes and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. It is definitely Wigan's "little hidden gem". A must if you visit Wigan for shopping or business.

The Coven now opens until 2pm on Sunday and we had lunch there today. Freshly made soup that really was to die for. Kale, spinach, leek, courgette etc, a medley of green vegetables with lemon and ginger to warm you up on a cold November day. It was perfect. So lucky to have this friendly welcoming restaurant

Lovely laid back place that I can't believe has been here 4+ years! Gorgeous mismatched style that goes perfectly with the homely welcoming atmosphere. Don't come expecting bells and whistles, there are only a few tables, the loo isnt part of the building, you access it through the lovley hidden garden, the food choices are read out to you, not... Called here today with a friend. I hadn't been for a year , due to family illness and bereavement. So glad to have gone back again. We both had the amazing Chinese fritters and date and walnut cake with soya custard. Delicious. I ll make a point of going more now that things are more settled with my family. Friendly... More
