Gorgeous flowers outside. We have eaten here a few times before and always been impressed with the menu. We decided to eat in the bar this time, not sure if it was a different menu but a little disappointing. The barmaid wasn't at all friendly and we felt a bit of a bother. Main courses were nice but the dessert... More

Popped in for a drink with my wife. I was surprised at how nice the place was. Bar prices were very good and bar staff efficient and friendly. Limited outside space (this is an inner city pub so no surprises there) although there is a small courtyard and tables and chairs out on the front. Definitely a one to consider... More

We went to the Court Inn for the very first time, after we heard lots of good things about it. The ambience is homey & as a pub should be. The benches gave me a bit of a bad back, since you've to lean forward & even with the table pulled towards us, it didn't help. The food is very... More

Two meals fish pie which resembled baby food in consistency with a cheap frozen bread baggette with frozen cheap veg. We did get the money back for this and they blamed the new batch of potatoes they had in but this is a theme throughout the reviews on here. I got the Seabass aka a tiny bit of fish on... More

we all had the fish pie which was served with a soft bread roll. We also ordered chips which we could not eat. This was not a pleasant experience and the service was poor. All four of us agreed that this was possibly the worst meal we had in our 3 week trip.

What a great place. Very friendly, efficient staff. Several choices on the menu from shellfish to steak and ale pies. Comfortable dining room, we weren't rushed at all.

Had a fab lunch of Seabass and the most delicious chips I have ever tasted. Were on hols so had a couple of gins. They had over 120 on offer WOW! Also a choice of different premium tonics. All drinks were garnished accordingly. A gin lovers paradise, can't wait to go back. A great little pub with really good atmosphere... More

First visit 5pm Sat evening. Restaurant fairly quiet but filled up during the course of our meal. All meals were well received. Only gripe was the curry served to my husband. He said it was one of the best he'd tasted...but the portion, served in separate little bowls, was tiny. Good excuse to order desserts which were lovely. Second visit... More

Dog friendly bar area. Staff not very attentive but OK. Ordered 2 panini which were OK at £6 each and a pulled pork baguette same price and very nice. Pub is OK although a bit out of the beaten track. If we didn't have the dog i would have tried somewhere else.
