We went here on a Friday evening so it was quite busy anyway. Lucky to get a table, service fine but everything was v expensive so we didn't stay long.

This hidden gem is well worth seeking out in the city centre. Serving a vast array of craft beers and imports, this is a great find for beer aficionados and lovers of real ales. Friendly staff and comfy seating all add to the mix. To pass time, try and find the £75 bottle of Chamay behind the bar. Overall a... More

Great pub with a good selection of drinks. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is decent pub food.

Had a Sunday Lunch in this Pub, was not impressed at all , Vegetables were still hard and uncooked, but if you want cheap inexpensive food , you get what you pay for.

Didn't eat here, but had a drink. Massive selection of beers, especially Belgian. It had a really great atmosphere on a cold Saturday afternoon. Outside seats and terrace for smokers, which the regulars assured me was a great sun trap - but not in February. It's also more of a mixture of a locals and tourists pub, situated in the... More

It has that real pub feel to it and it's a great venue to meet up with friends for a few pints and a bit of banter. Always chilled out, reasonably priced with comfortable seats and a good atmosphere. The bar staff are always friendly and laidback too.

Ordered a margarita and had by far the worst cocktail ever. I've had bad cocktails before but I never thought anyone can completely ruin a margarita. That is definitely a skill. Young lady at the bar took ages and seemed like she has never made a cocktail before. It was watered down, had plenty of ice and salt in the... More

We visited Durham as a precursor to Christmas and found ourselves outside the bar at opening time. Once inside we ordered drinks. I chose an IPA which fitted the bill ideally. There is a huge selection of beers to choose from. My son in law chose a Christmas Ale at 10%!!! The girl at the bar advised me it was... More

Called in on our Christmas Day/night out on Thursday, greeted by a lady with blonde hair who was rude and ignorant. We were the only ones in the pub... no wonder if this was the greeting you get!! We had one drink and left! Really disappointing!
