Great little cafe which lots of delicious and healthy options available. Also do vegatarian and sometimes vegan specials but check the menu for vegan options before hand. All the food we got was delicious and of a high quality. Will be visiting again for sure.

I always try and visit Flat White when visiting the family. I had the ham hock hash and the green smoothie. Delicious. Ricotta pancakes are another firm favourite. My nephew loves the toast and says its is sour-dope. We love Flat White.

Really popular so be prepared to queue😀 the cafe is tastefully decorated and has a good menu. I liked my menu choice so much I replicated it at home. Would like a few more small tables as it is not always suitable to share a table with strangers. Their smaller cafe round the corner also offers a great venue to... More

When you see people queuing to get inside it might put you off but the wait is worth it. They don't do bookings so it's first come first served. Inside is beautifully decorated and plenty of tables. Although I've never had any cakes or tray bakes from there they look delish! If you have time to wait it's worth it!... More

Drinks and food are delicious. Takes a little time for order to be delivered but that's okay. Staff are helpful and friendly.

1st visit with my 3yr old - it's been highly recommended to me a few times and I wasn't disappointed!! The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I had a buggy which was taken downstairs out of the way. The children's breakfast menu was lovely and not too fussy. The main menu had plenty to choose... More

Great coffee, food and service. Cute outdoor seating too. Lovely service and we'd come back all the time if we lived here.

After five weeks travelling the UK finally we enjoyed a fabulous Long Black (Americano) along with a Soy Latte & Cappuccino at Flat White. We also enjoyed their two gluten free cakes. There is a smaller cafe in the bridge and later we discovered the Kitchen on the main road which is larger. We were greeted and served by a... More

Description
Located on Saddler Street, just seconds away from Durham Cathedral, is Flat White Durham's latest venture: Flat White Kitchen. The five-story 16th century property has been restored back to its original splendour and is a meld of stripped-wood, copper pipes and bare brick alongside opulent French mirrors and fresh flowers. The coffee offering showcases the owners' talents, who opened their first cafe after working alongside some of Australia's greatest roasters. Five years on, the two are still regulars on the coffee machine, passing on their talents to only a select few who make the cut. The food offering from Flat White Kitchen is equally as perfected as the coffee. A strong, kitchen team has been hand selected from the finest northern restaurants to ensure that the menu is as strong as the reputation.
