Great, quick service despite how busy they were. Great choice of food on the menu and what we picked was really delicious! Good selection of gins too! Bonus.

What an incredible pub! Was staying in the Lakeside Hotel and went over to ask about a boat trip on the lake, whilst there I asked the woman could she recommend anywhere for dinner and she suggested this place . Wow, amazing setting, very friendly and efficient staff and the food !! Me and my mate ordered the lamb stew that was... More

Have lunched at The Masons Arms several times and was never disappointed. Extensive menu to suit all tastes and good choice of beers. Had grouse on the last visit - cooked to perfection and very tasty. Lovely view from outside tables. Highly recommended.

Stayed here twice & both times have been great, really really good food & the prices are good for what you get! Great location too, especially to sit out in the beer garden!

My husband and I reserved a table for dinner only told that we could have the slot between 6 to 7 pm. The dining room was not busy although the bar was busy. There were not many people dinning!!! Food is mediocre, the baked camembert was hard on the edges like it was microwaved and not baked. Ham hock was... More

Delightful service for an unannounced lunchtime party of six. Managed to find us a table, smiling with pleasant service, then serve us a great meal from the lunchtime menu. Outside views really terrific, inside rooms full of atmosphere. Traditional fare:steak and kidney pie with suet pastry was amazing; we all ate something different and will definitely be returning.

The Masons Arms is a lovely old pub that has retained its olde worlde charm. The food is brilliant and they serve three good real ales on tap.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and a wonderful view!! This pub is a must when visiting Windermere. The menu is filled with a brilliant selection of home cooked food and the bar is stocked with great beers. You can even pick up a wooden walking stick or a pot of jam during your visit. Can't wait to return.

This was our eighth visit to The Masons Arms. We love the Winster Valley and were lucky enough to have 4 days of lovely sunny weather. We had the Cartmel Fell Suite at £100 per night and it was perfect as we also had Stanley the dog with us. Food and service were excellent, and very good value for money.... More
