Called in after a day out and the service was great. Easily accommodated a group of 8 with no prior notice. Would call again.

Called for lunch today as from outside it looked lovely, don't be mislead. We ordered a bottle of lager and a Diet Coke, plus two burgers. Firstly the Coke was flat but worst of all, when the burgers arrived they were raw in the middle. I told the waitress who said " they are cooked, it's just the paprika that... More

First day at the lakes and the sun was out and we found this pub where we could sit outside. Lovely staff, good food with reasonable prices. Recommended!

Had a lovely early dinner here after a long day of hiking in unusually sunny weather. Between us we had a fried Brie cheese starter and a mushroom and cream sauce starter, and the sausage trio and mash, and the chicken leek pie. All very nice. Nice service too. Cozy British pub atmosphere.

We arrived at around Mid day after coming of a boat trip on the lake, nice setting from the outside and warm inside. Two items were not available on the lunch time menu, My Wife's choice of salad was not available and the burgers were not either. ( Not that I wanted them ) I had Fish and Chips and... More

Had a lovely lunch in glorious sunshine at their 'sit outerie' last week. We ordered the Angus burgers which proved to be very tasty, lean and peppery. The service was excellent and the two girls who served were friendly and helpful. Top marks for an excellent lunch sitting amongst tubs of spring flowers in the hot sun. Can't beat it... More

I was attracted by the lovely setting of this establishment and have always said I would try it out. In short disappointing and let down by its food. I felt like I had gone back to the 1980's when I had my first ever pub lunch; very poor produce used for the burger and it wasn't homemade or in fact... More
