My sister's and I walked for quite some time shopping, sightseeing and just wanted to stop long enough for something sweet and a double shot of espresso latte! We are Cuban Americans and we love our strong Cuban espresso latte. This place was the "Cat's Meow" for us! the lady who took our order was so friendly and kind! There... More

As we were walking round Windermere, we came across this little café. We were so glad we found this one as it was such a pleasant place with lovely homemade cakes and scones. The tomato soup that I ate was absolutely lovely and very freshly prepared. The Victoria sponge cake was also delicious and the cups of tea were nice... More

We were driving through Bowness, on the eternal quest for a parking spot, & when I found a spot - it happened to be right opposite Cafe Latte, so in we went. They had an amazing choice of cakes & stuff, just a shame we weren't hungrier, we just fancied a latte & hot choc. The ladies running this spot... More

Visited today whilst on holiday in the lakes. A good selection of drinks, although the sandwich selection could be bigger than two sandwiches. The person whom I was with had tomato soup and a white chocolate hot chocolate and I had a tea and a bacon and egg barm. All of it was beautiful. Even the tea was top notch,... More

We managed to get in not long after opening on a Sunday, the place is quite small so I can imagine it can be a struggle to get in during busy times. Scones were amazing and obviously freshly made! Staff were friendly and the cafe was very nicely decorated.

Needed a warm up after the lake cruise and this little cafe wasn't a bad find, quite small with 3 high seats in the window & 4 tables. Lovely decor with a really good selection of drinks, cakes, scones & sandwiches hot or cold. My hot chocolate came with the "full works" which consisted of whipped cream, lots baby marshmallows... I called here because I like to help local business and avoid chains when I can. This place allowed dogs inside and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a good choice of food and it was of a high quality for a small place, well done.

Always make time to call here on our visits to Bowness. The owner is so pleasant, makes a real effort to chat with us. The late is the nicest I have found in the lakes so far. We had soup and sandwich and then shared a piece of lemon curd Victoria sponge which was so good my partner went back... More

This is a friendly little cafe & well worth a visit. They have a small menu of sandwiches, soups, jacket potatoes etc. & a delicious selection of homemade cakes. I had a cheese & chutney sandwich & a raspberry & coconut slice, both of which were fresh & tasty. My Husband said the cherry almond cake he had was the... More
