Hidden Gem in Bowness. This pub has so much character and is so cosy. Had drinks only early in the day but the lunches going past before we left looked amazing. Will visit again for sure.

A very quaint pretty outside area, I never went inside as it was a beautiful day and my husband went for our drinks. There was a good choice of drinks I opted for strawberry pims which was delicious, will definitely be back.

Called for a quick meal. Great atmospheric pub full of history which was tucked away in a side street away from the traffic. Lovely food, we had three starters which were nachos, squid and prawns which were all great. Nice cold beers to top it off. Highly recommended.

Hole in t'Wall is a lovely homely pub. I always make sure I have a drink or two in here every time I visit Bowness. This pub has lots of character. It's very close to the shops, restaurants and Lake Windermere. It's a great place to eat and has a nice beer garden. This is not a place to be... More

After meeting a couple in another pub, they recommended Hole in t'Wall for a pint and some food. It's off the main road so you have to look for it, but on finding, we decided to have a drink and some lunch. A quaint old pub with a bit of history to it. We sat outside in the front of... More
