This place was recommended to us by a few locals. The fish has a lovely crispy batter and the chips are cooked just right. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend to others

Fancied fish and chip takeaway whilst on holiday by Windermere. Read good reviews for this place and went along, we weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, good food and not too long of a wait.

We were told to buy our fish & chips from here by a few local folk. We weren't disappointed either = Lovely chips & the fish were covered in nice, crispy batter. Simple Fish & Chips as they should be done :)

Very busy ttime service queued out of the door with a lady in front ordering 14 portions of chips!! But despite that service was well organised, happy & friendly staff, and food was great. 3 Haddock & Chicken all with chips all fabulous and also the curry sauce was great. Would recommend

Managed to get one fish and chips and fed the kids. After the kids went to bed we made do with corned beef sandwiches............not the best... More

Everytime we've visited the lakes we park in the car park near the Beatrix Potter attraction so we have to pass this chippy to get to where we need to go, upon passing we always comment about the mouthwatering smells coming from it. on this visit we had booked an evening cruise and had an hour to kill so decided... All I can say is this places Fish and Chips were some of the best my family and I have tasted, love the fact they came in a box and not paper, the curry sauce was to die for and the tartar sauce and mushy peas also top tasting.. Fairly pricey but definitely worth every penny, in fact it's making... More
