This is a local pub and so expect it to be casual, and is down a country lane in an upmarket part of the area. It's mainly locals and the staff are usually local youngsters who finish a shift and then join their friends in...More

We popped in here for a drink on a Saturday lunch time as the nearby tea room was full. We loved the decor, with old beams and real fires, as well as the friendly service.

We enjoy this as a lovely weekend pub with great food and prices. We always enjoy the steak pie and amazing chips. The gravy is amazing! Lovely cosy atmosphere and traditional classy county pub feel. Never had a bad meal here.
