About the 4th year we've had a takeout from here as its a short walk from our accommodation, very polite staff and a great curry at reasonable prices, I had a sublime chicken Ceylon. !! Highly recommended.

Booked a table for 4, which was allocated before we arrived, it was tiny and we asked to me moved to a larger one. There were no further bookings so obvs saving best tables in case of late booking. Annoying. However, food is very good, hot and tasty. No alcohol so take your own (there's a off licence opposite) and... More

I've eaten in Cafe India two or three times each time I've visited Weymouth over the last 10years or so. The food is uncomplicated but excellent with everything fresh and well cooked. Chefs and staff are a credit to the owner who overseas the operation with a friendly and professional eye. If we're in Weymouth and want to eat Indian,it's... More

We came twice during May 2016. Excellent curries and service was great too. The biggest bonus was that you can take your own alcohol. Nice relaxed atmosphere and great going there in a group. Just hope they recycle all the used bottles and cans!

We had takeaway - there is resturant service available, not really ideal for a romantic visit as there is quite a bit of coming and goings due to the takeaway and delivery

This is the best. Always great food. I've not sat down for a meal yet as I get a take away but you can take your own drinks. Nice. They are quick and the food is great. We always have the takha Dahl, a good test of the place, and this is consistently good as are the other vegetarian dishes... More

I took my wife and kids to this filthy restaurant due to the fact that it was the closest restaurant to where I live, what a huge mistake that was!!!! When first walking in we were greeted by the waitress who sat us down and asked us if we wanted popadoms in a rude and chavvy way, then walked off... More

My wife, daughter & I visited for the first time last night & we were all very impressed. The service, food & price was excellent...The midweek feast was particularly good value, with a starter, main with a couple of sides for £9-85. They have no alcohol licence, so you take your own,for which they supply glasses and charge no "corkage"whatsoever. I Can definitely recommend... More

I ordered a delivery, whilst I appreciate it was a Saturday night, but after an hour and fifty minutes and still no takeaway, having phoned the restaurant twice to be told "it's on its way", and it still didn't turn up I cancelled it. Most definitely WILL NOT be using this restaurant EVER again!!!!!
