Can't go to a seaside resort without sampling the local fish & chips and the Marlboro didn't disappoint. The receptionist in our hotel recommended it and we went there on our 2nd night in Weymouth. Theres a takeaway option or there is a small seating area. Ordered the large cod & chips with mushy peas but the portion should have... More

As a Brit who lives abroad fish and chips is one of the things I miss ! Weymouth was a stop on our cruise that I only had one mission and that was to find great fish and chips. This was great ! Although the appearance of the chips were slightly off putting ( they looked crinkle cut this is... More

These were the best fish and chips we had in Weymouth. The pea fritter and cheese and onion fry-it were out of this world. Importantly, the chips are crinkle cut!

We regularly visit this restaurant when we visit Weymouth. Although a little "cosy" in the restaurant the food is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive and caters for those not wanting fish, although why would you not want fish in this establishment? The fish is fresh, portions generous and reasonably priced. The restaurant is located... More

Good choices on the menu. My sister was glad to find a choice of smaller portions. Chips were very good and prices reasonable.

I was disappointed with my meal (I had rock salmon), but my wife was very happy, she had the Cod. It is normal for me to chose the wrong thing from the menu. One surprise was that the coffee was "Instant" and at 2 pounds a cup was expensive - so I went without.

If you have not had Rock before, then their is always the chance you would not like it,as it has a distinctive taste! Not our fault you did not like it !! More

Really good hearty fish and chips. Served in a great plate, excellent waiter service, quick and comfortable. I had haddock and my husband had cod, both were great. For those who dont eat beer battered fish, people like me, this is a great place to go to.
