Very good meal

We are here during a stay in Barnard castle. Excellent meals and very friendly staff. We were given Bombay Potatoes as a complimentary side dish which nice. The restaurant was a bit cold when we arrived but the staff arranged space heaters around us which resolved the problem!

Had takeaway delivered. We all enjoy a nice curry and visit our local Kashmiri aroma often. As this takeaway was coming from a restaurant we expected our meals to be really good. But it wasn't brilliant. The jalfrezi was red, far too hot and lacked flavour. The tikka masala was sweet! The chicken pakoras were flavourless. The onion Bhajis on... More

My first visit here. Glad I booked as this was pretty full when I got there and kept getting fuller. I ordered the lamb tandoori, which was in my opinion, too tough for my liking, and regretted it immediately. However, something I rarely do - I complained and within five minutes it had been removed and replaced with some other... More

Used this restaurant many times both for takeaway and eating in and am always impressed, been through most of the menu now, Chicken Pathia and their special Naga curry are fantastic! Always a very warm, friendly welcome and great food to match. Free popadoms, dip and Bombay potatoes when I get takeouts.

Take away order placed by phone whilst on holiday near by. Collected 30mins later and I received a super friendly reception from these guys. The food was very very nice. Garlic chilli chicken dish in particular superb. Thanks and see you again soon.

Came here on the Wednesday just gone the night before a job interview, can honestly say its one of the friendliest places I have been. Food and service were excellent and one of the staff kept me company for a while as well! Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Been twice in the last week. Sat in first and the food and service were fantastic. Went back for take out a week later and the food was just as good. Fab, helpful staff. We'll be back soon.
