We visited here at the weekend, It was a last minute decision and one I'm pleased we made.. A family friendly bar and restaurant. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and chatty. The food was DELICIOUS! One of THE best Sunday lunches I have enjoyed out in a VERY long time. The children ate for free, which is very... More

Although this is a local pub, the menu is quite extensive. Not the usual 'pub grub'. The quality and quantity was very good as was the presentation and the speed of service

Normal pub food and nothing special. Service was average, but friendly. Easy car parking. The menu is normal pub food.

Six of us ate here at the May bank holiday for our evening meal. We all had starters, mains and shared 4 desserts. I chose the hot smoked salmon and asparagus salad - perfect for me as I don't like 'heavy' meals - which means I can manage a pud! There was steak, bangers and mash, chicken and fish and... More

As my parents were visiting for the day we brought them to the Redwell as it is a favourite of ours, lunch as all ways was lovely, my mother had the plaice and thoroughly enjoyed it. As we all did, The staff and manager are all ways happy and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you. 😀

Absolutely awesome food.. Can't recommend highly enough. We visited for Sunday lunch. Sunday roast was choice of meat with loads of veg .. Alternatives limited but sufficient .. Fish or pasta - I had the fish and it was outstanding .. Desserts as nice. Friendly service and not rushed.. Will definitely be back.

Firstly we were seated in the restaurant which was absolutely freezing, quite frankly a mess as well. We waited half an hour for our starters to come and they were NOT how they were described on the menu then to add insult to injury one of the party had ordered a Parmo which turned up well, uncooked to say the... I am a little disappointed to have received this review after I had dealt with your complaint personally on the evening. However, I shall endeavour to address the points made. The first obvious and quite correct complaint regarding the chicken dish was a bad, but totally out of character mistake on behalf of the kitchen. At the time I could... More

Friendly pub with good food selection. Great that they did a kids menu which the little one loved. Hubby a bit disappointed no onion rings with the steak but had he looked they where there as extras. Certainly will pop in again
