If you want a modestly priced but home coked meal, this is it. The first time we went there were people waiting to get in. This a smallish dog-friendly pub (so beware of quiz night) with friendly and helpful staff. Even the guys sitting out the front with their beers were very friendly. Good range of beers. Big portion of... More

The food was outstanding, the starters and the puddings, great selection on ale and beer went down a treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful, will 100% be coming back, one of the best in Beverley

Went on Friday for the first time and loved everything about the food and the friendly atmosphere. So we went back tonight and truly was the same gorgeous food as we had on Friday, I really can recommend the Pork Belly and the Home made Lamb burger. Scumlicious X

Small but perfectly formed-I have visited the Woolpack a few times and it is always excellent. It is small and intimate and therefore a nice atmosphere. The biggest problem is choosing a beer-should I have Cockerhoop or Snecklifter but them there is Hobgoblin, which I chose. The meals are, I suppose you would call pub fayre but there is nothing... Great little pub with an excellent menu. Obviously well known in the area, relatively busy on the Tuesday evening we visited. Very Oldy Worldy country pub and the food was delicious. Anyone in the area looking for a pub meal won't go wrong visiting this little gem!

We class this little friendly pub as our local, even though we don't actually live in Beverley. We've been for Xmas meals, Sunday lunches, family meals etc, each time we receive a very friendly service and excellent meals. But please don't go, as it means less room for us !!!!

A small pub near the famous Beverley Westwood that is very popular for its bar meals. Very popular with the locals. Food is of a good quality and they sell a good range of real ales.

We are always popping with family and friends. Its top of our favourite "real pubs" in a nutshell as they say.

Great pie and mushy peas, good ale and lovely service. A great end to a day of exploring Beverley. Would highly recommend.

Didn't know if this should be listed as a restaurant or attraction. Fantastic place, Kim and Tony give a lovely welcome, all food is sourced locally and really nice - they deserve a mention!!!
