We've used the Woolpack for two years and have never had a bad meal. It's good quality pub food with daily specials. It's not in the centre of Beverley but within easy walking distance of about ten minutes max from the main square. Parking is not easy in the street but available 200 years away on Beverley Westwood. Good range... More

As the title says this a really friendly small pub to meet up with friends and to enjoy a pleasant evening meal. Service good with a smile, food home cooked, range of beers and wines.

Met with brother and sister and partners to have family meal and catch up. Woolpack is very small but well patronised all drinking and eating in this traditional pub. Very good service and lovely food. Reasonable prices and good sized portions.

Visited for Sunday Lunch on the basis of previous TripAdvisor reviews and without repeating all the excellent positive reviews would just like to confirm this is totally perfect. Gorgeous hearty food i had the Belly Pork and husband had the pie totally scrumptious and all served with extremely tasty veg. Almost too full but not quite so shared a sticky... More

We met up with friends here for Sunday lunch, the pub has some excellent ales on offer and great food. Even on a Sunday you can have alternatives to the traditional roast. However we all decided on the roast beef, which was superb. It is really busy here, especially on a Sunday so booking a table is highly recommended to... More

Excellent food and atmosphere in the snug! This is where you can have a lovely Sunday dinner with your dog. Such a friendly pub and great staff! It's great that there is a specific area for the people and their dogs. Definitely, recommend this pub for food, service, drinks and dogs.

Always enjoy coming to this traditional pub handy for the Westwood and town centre. There is a very good choice of food and ales available at reasonable cost and the staff are helpful and friendly too. The pub hasn't changed over the years so it's great to sit in a traditional pub that hasn't suffered a chain makeover. It's small... More

We booked a meal partly to ensure we'd get a table for the Thursday quiz, which can be very popular. This was a sensible move, not just because the pub got busy, but because the food was very good - traditional pub grub, well-cooked, piping hot and tasty. The beer was well-kept and moreish.

Much better than some of the main stream pubs that have no character. Food excellent with warm and friendly staff.good selection of traditional beers etc. Even a place to sit with your dogs. Warm coal fires to keep you cozy.
