Called in here for lunch on a Friday afternoon when visiting Beverley. This pub is just a short 5 minute stroll off the main town centre. The place is great - a proper old pub. No modern nonsense - lovely bar, fireplace etc. Really good...More

Recently visited this small pub while sightseeing in Beverly. The place is unassuming and relatively hidden away but worth the search. Good range of beers and friendly service was a good start but the range and quality of food was a surprise. Excellent haddock and...More

Lovely warm welcome, friendly staff. Great pie menu but opted for traditional Sunday lunch. Was not disappointed. Olde worlde charm of a traditional pub, felt like I was at a family's house rather than a restaurant

Thanks Guys, another great roast. New chef seems to be improving week by week. Always a friendly welcome here. Good quality wine (lucky choice Jack!) See you same time next week.

Very nice experience at The Woolpack. The landlord and bar staff could not do enough for us, arranging suitable table for us and friends' dog. I had one of the best steaks with peppercorn sauce, excellent chips and 'small' (very reasonable!) salad. Friends had a...More

First visited The Woolpack a year ago and what a difference 12 months makes. Still a good range of real ales and Thursday night quiz but the food is nowhere near as good as before, average quality off a very limited menu. Disappointed

If you are eating you will have to be on the hard standing (ie. non-carpeted bit) but the staff are very welcoming to dog owners and they have dog biscuits waiting for you!

Didn't know if this should be listed as a restaurant or attraction. Fantastic place, Kim and Tony give a lovely welcome, all food is sourced locally and really nice - they deserve a mention!!!
