We used to go to the Riverbank quite often but it went downhill some time ago. However now the new owner is the chef and the meals were truly lush. I couldn't fault any of it. Who would have thought that a chicken and bacon salad with sweet potato fries could taste so good!

After my best friends wedding we really wanted a roast but were not really too keen on leaving the house so we headed to Riverbank. The staff are lovely, the food is amazing, lots of choice and it is super tasty!! Bring your own plate!!

Good food (excellent starter plateau & cheese cake!), excellent service, good value, very friendly staff. We had a romantic meal on the patio by the river. Wonderful evening out.

Well, after reading "some" of the previous reviews, it makes me worry about who actually wrote them.We were made very welcome from the moment we walked in. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and this continued through the evening. We chose mainly from the Specials Menu, which apparently changes quite regularly. We need not have concerned ourselves the food was... More

Under the new management of James Priestly, they provided a superb buffet of hot and cold food for a wake following my fathers funeral. Everything was arranged with ease and the guests all commented on how good the spread was. Service provided was efficient and friendly. Thanks very much to James and the team for making this a good occasion... More

Went for steak night and great menu to choose from, my partner had the 8oz rump steak with Chunky fries & peas & I had the pork rump steak with French fries. For me it was an affordable meal with good quality food and great presentation. Will be booking a meal here again and again

2 Thank Martyn C
