We ate here recently when on holiday in Bude- it was quaint, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the savoury cheese scone 'cream tea' which was delicious, the soup was lovely too- all was homemade. The jams, which were available to buy, were also very tasty. We followed it up with a mooch around the church,... More

We love to eat here on our visit to Hawker's hut. The ploughman's lunches are always very good and the surroundings are very tea room quaint. We surprisingly didn't bother with a cake on this occasion - the selection wasn't huge. Perhaps we were just a little late in the day. We saw an afternoon tea and think that looked... More

A delightful experience from start to finish. We had the cream tea with two scones, and there was a great choice of lovely jams to choose from, including elderflower and gooseberry, and apricot and ginger - which are super. The scones are plain, and ours were warm, fresh and perfectly textured with a hint of sweetness. They are also the... More

Another drive out to the lovely tearoom around the corner. My partner wanted to have a cream tea. The tearoom has an excellent gluten free menu. So afternoon tea it was. The young lady came to serve us was very pleasant and helpful. She was able to reel off the many types of jam he could have with his scone... More

We visited after a recommendation from the tourist info in Bude. Well worth the short journey. The staff were fantastic and the Cream Tea was fabulous.

Used to visit here for Sunday lunch on previous visits to the Rectory Farm. Unfortunately no longer do this in summer so we went back for a cream tea on probaably the hottest July day. This is the first time we treated ourselves to a crean tea and we weren't disappointed.

I've been coming here since I was four (maybe earlier). When I visit the W country now I factor in a trip to these tea rooms, with a wonderful coastal walk if there is time, and a visit tongue church. This is consistently the best cream tea I ever have and is well worth the diversion (from the A30...) and... More
