Have been to this excellent restaurant twice. The first time was in the summer and I was knocked out by the runny brie with honey and garlic and crunchy bread! The second time was last week when I had the most tasty cheese with macaroni and bacon rashers, plus bread.

We stopped in for a quick drink and ended up having a few. Based right on the canal this was a stunning stop off point on our adventure also they are currently severing BIG mulled wines for £5 which is great value. Would defiantly recommend :)

We called in for a little snack after a walk along the beach and were really spoilt for choice by the range of delicious-looking cakes. They also do fantastic mulled cider, hot chocolate and an interesting selection of local gins (I tried the samphire gin and it was delicious and surprisingly delicate). Definitely somewhere we'll come back to.

Went in for a light lunch after a long walk. The clientele ranged from young mothers with their babies to the more senior members of the population(like us!), which made for a pleasant atmosphere. I had the mackerel(fresh and grilled) on ciabatta toast which was delicious. My wife had the home-made soup and fresh bread - equally good. We found... More

Staff are really friendly, the food and coffee are very nice. Dog friendly in the garden only but if the weather is nice it's ok

Usually go with my father on new year's day and always have Eggs Benedict. Delicious, fairly expensive but you get what you pay for and the ambiance and location are stunning

We had been walking the Bude Canal and were booked elsewhere for an evening meal, so we stopped at the Olive Tree for coffee and toasted teacakes. The staff were smiling and helpful, the cappuccino arrived smelling and tasting wonderful, together with lovely hot spicy toasted teacakes. ~Just what we needed to warm us up on a breezy October day.

Good food at a reasonable price on the banks of the canal at Bude. Nice to sit outside in the sun, even in the autumn. I especially enjoyed the wild mushrooms on toast with poached eggs and all our party liked their chosen meals
