After walking for over 9 miles, myself and my fellow walkers were looking forward to refreshments at this tea room. We were seated outside, no menus offered, one of waitresses just said ‘What do want?’ To one of our group. We all made our orders,...More

The Brig o' Turk Tearoom will be a delightful little stop on your way up the road! Each table having its own set of salf and pepper shakers and personalised doily reflected the vintage charm. The mismatched crockery only added to the appeal of this...More

Cosy surroundings in a beautiful setting with consistently good food. The menu is seasonal (on our last visit there was a venison bourguignon and hake with garlic purée and cannelloni beans), as well as staples such a goulash, schnitzel and burgers.
