Great little restaurant run by Nick and Suzanne, always available for a chat, seasonal menu with local produce.

We came here on a family trip to Scotland and the owner of the B&B where we stayed had recommended this place. Upon arrival, the restaurant struck us as a cozy but elegant place to dine, and the atmosphere was enriched by the lovely jazz music playing in the background. The day's specials were written on a chalkboard hung on... More

Hyperbole is best avoided, and usually unwarranted, in a restaurant review, but the meal we had here was superb, probably the best I've had in Scotland in over thirty years, including a recent one at a Michelin starred restaurant on Loch Lomond. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of cooking and ingredients. The fillet steak was melt-in-the-mouth delicious,... More

We had a wonderful meal here during our visit to the Trossachs area. The restaurant is very quaint and the food was wonderfully prepared. The wine list is extensive. The service was wonderful too and we enjoyed chatting with the Chef/Owner. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We were arriving late to our B & B in town, and the host offered to make us a dinner reservation, so we wound up here. I couldn't have been more pleased or amazed. Service staff was skilled and friendly, food was delicious and beautiful and prices were extremely reasonable. I would call it a must visit if you are... More

The food is outstanding and the wait staff even better. If we were staying another night I would go back an have the lamb again. I got the feeling that this is where the locals go. Everyone seemed to know each other. Make reservations, because it filled up fast. We got there at 6:30 and were able to get in.
