My in laws live down the road in Stirling and whenever I'm up from London I insist on visiting this place. Their fish and chips are divine. The batter crunchy and the chips heavenly. My only complaint is that the portions could be bigger! 😉

Wife and I have visited Mhor fish on several occaisions and believe their fish and chips to be excellent and better than many other chipshops. That said, their staff seem to have communication problems, probably as they are predominanly of foreign origin and either cannot understand some local dialect, or are paid so badly they don't really care?? When ordering... More

It was fairly busy when we arrived but we were ignored for a good few minutes before finding our own table. The waitress came over to give us menus and told us she'd come and wipe the table. This didn't happen. The tables were very small and we were crammed in tight. The food was ok. The portions were very... More

Food was brilliant even though our table was directly behind the kitchen A bit pricey for chip shop but the chips were the best I have had for years.

The restaurant looks like a modest cafe type extension to the take away but don't be fooled, the quality of the food is excellent and the service is fast and friendly.

A friend indicated to me that this was the best fish and Chip shop for takeaway fish and chips. After visiting Loch Katrina, my wife and I stopped of in Callander , at the Mhor fish and chip shop for fish and chips. I am afraid I have to disagree with my friend about his description of this fish and... More

We found Mhor Fish by chance driving home from Loch Lomond through Callander on Sunday evening at 9pm. They let us order event though they stop serving at 9, and we had a lovely traditional fish and chips, with a beer and glass of wine. Friendly staff and good value. The Menu has some other options, and there are desserts... More

The fish and chips were cooked well, but unexceptional. The coleslaw and tartare sauce were very good, but quite expensive. The bread was white sliced which had seen better days. Service was good and friendly. I'm not sure I would return given the costs.

This restaurant is nothing special to look at but the food is extremely good and good value. As the name suggests their signature dishes are fish based but they do serve other things. Three of our party had a good, old fashioned, Fish Tea and it was brilliant, with bread from their sister bakery, also in Callander, called Mhor Bread!... More
