A very modern pub with stunning views of the estuary. Decor fairly bland. Food was OK, very nicely presented. I had fish cakes, too much potato and not enough fish. Service good but a little distant.

I've been going to the Coombes Cellar for about 10 years. It's always been the best place to go in the area. The location is great, the setting is perfect and the pub never fails to please. This place has come in leaps and bounds,...More

Popped in for a drink yesterday afternoon with my dog. Great atmosphere and staff on the bar were friendly. Very comfy sat by the fire. And my dog loved the treats. Will visit again.

Absolutely brilliant visit for Sunday lunch. What made it so great was the way they looked after our three daughters and made it special for them. We all had Sunday roast which was divine. I would suggest buying some new cushions for the bar area....More

Thank for taking the time to leave feedback and your positive reviews regarding friendly service, quality and value for money. As a riverside restaurant we are particularly fastidious with regards to cleanliness as rats travel up and down the river bank looking for food and...More

We had a great time too. They seem to respond to all reviews even the bad ones and they seem quite humble and apologetic if they get it wrong. Maybe message them again in case they missed yours.

Yes actually! There was at least one big lab there sitting with his owners. I always love seeing that. :)
