Meanwhile waitress offered to take my chips away and veggies so they were warm ( good service) . Chips well the best ever I hate chunky chips but the ones there... More

Limited menu made worse by the fact that 3 of the main courses were unavailable, especially as it was only 7pm! A bit pricey. Will not be revisiting.

Ate here for three nights - food delicious and my dogs were very welcome - bowl of water and dog biscuits available, away from main diners, many of whom came to fuss them. Handy walk, with torch, from the excellent Bulleigh Barton Manor B and B!

I went to the Bickley Mill Inn with my daughter for a meal on a special occasion a few Saturdays ago. There was a wedding on at the time we were there. My meal was extremely dry and tasteless and my daughters duck she could not chew. Noone came over and asked us how our meal was. When we had... More

We decided to try the pub again having an elderly mum who is partially deaf we need to dine somewhere quiet. Sundays is quiet at the inn so is perfectly suited but we rarely go as the food and service can vary so much. This time it was great and all enjoyed a roast beef meal with a good selection... More

We have hired a lot of new staff in recent months and you may have been served by someone in training on a previous visit. However, we are glad that you enjoyed your experience this time. We hope to see you again in... More

First impression was of a very empty bar and a restaurant devoid of atmosphere. A very limited evening menu reflective of pub grub pre millenium. Started with a shared order of Rustic breads with oil and balsamic. What came to the table were slices of bog standard slightly stale slices of white and brown french bread, 4 small ends and... We were staying nearby at the lovely Compton Pool Farm Cottages for a week and Bickley Mill was within easy walking distance. They were very accommodating to our party of nine including 4 little ones. Service was good and the food very tasty. Sunday roast was particularly nice - they asked us to pre-order food when we rang to book... More
