Stumbled across this place looking for breakfast and so glad we did. Home cooked local food. Cafe owner was lovely. Very child friendly. Brilliant gluten free selection of cakes if you need it. Thank you!

Wonderful little deli/coffee shop. Simple eggs on toast cooked to perfection, along with a cup of tea. My partner had a beef pastie which was full of meat. Wonderful. Will return. Thank you

Whilst in here today taking a coffee a member of staff shouted at two other customers having a private conversation and told them to shut up and stop talking since when do you do that ?!?! How rude and unprofessional drink elsewhere if you don't want to be humiliated

This unfortunate and unprecedented incident involving two long-standing regular customers and a part time staff member has been dealt with, to the satisfaction of the offended persons and in a manner that avoided further embarrassment to our customers. Furthermore, our member of staff is facing strong and appropriate disciplinary action. Thank you for your concern. More

Often walked past but never visited. Glad we have now, though. Ordered a chicken chorizo and potato hash with poached egg and a pork pie plowmans. Both were absolutely delicious and left us full for the day despite going in just for a light lunch. The low price belies the quantity of food you get. The pot of tea was... More

You have fantastic coffee & now you have also jumped on the bandwagon of deserting Christchurch , It's becoming a ghost town with only banks , estate agents . Most of the independent shops have now either left or are on the market inc Latimer House , the other furniture shop , the wool shop Oldest pub in town ALL... More

Place looks lovely and food looked promising, but made the mistake of choosing the chocolate brownie, which was awful. Rather than being sumptuous, moist & rich, it was bland, dry & tasteless. Maybe sweet treats just aren't their strong point, but they really should taste their produce before selling it.
