We came to this café on the recommedation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The breakfast menu was varied and the food was delicious. The bread was to die for! The coffee served were tasty, and the service very friendly and efficient. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

This is one of my favourite places in Christchurch! For breakfast I normally have tea and toast with marmite, the toast is thickly cut with plenty of butter and a generous pot of marmite. Occasionally I will have a Pan breakfast, fantastic but not at the high calorie end The lunch specials are great, the soup and sandwich combo is... More

Visited one Sunday in April after a friends recommendation. Overall we weren't disappointed. The setting is quirky with seating on first and ground floors. Overall the breakfast was very good, all ingredients were good quality, didn't quite get it being served in a heavy pan as it didn't keep the food hot which is what I expected. A couple of... More

Had a great lunch, bbq ribs unbelievable and loads of them !! Excellent service from our waitress, ? Betty, v helpful and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely eat there again. One thing, not really important but I would prefer a plate to a wooden board.

A quirky place with old church chairs and unfussy surroundings. A warm welcome and an excellent light lunch. Will visit again when we are in the area

Was here on Friday morning for breakfast, the choice is esxtensive and all the food is cooked fresh to order, the service is friendly and attentive, like eating in someone's kitchen. The pancakes were the best I have ever eaten outside of the USA A must visit in Christchurch.

I love this place. The food is wonderful and it's served by friendly, happy staff. The atmosphere and the decor of this small cafe are perfect for a laid back, tasty meal. The only downside would be that it is quite small and can become very crowded when Christchurch is busy.

So it's probably meant to be part of the charm of this bohemian cafe, but I just couldn't stop thinking it needs a refurb. We sat at a table beneath the stairs and there were loads of marks up the walls, the floor was sticky, as was one of the legs of the table when I put my hand on... More
