Have often eaten here over a number of years (& with its different owners). I've visited with my husband (a deux), with wider family and with a girlfriend several times. The food is consistently good with an impressive array of vegetables. There's a good a la carte menu choice too, although it's hard to resist the carvery. We've always encountered... More

We visited for lunch today and my friend and I ate a "pensioners perks" lunch which is a main meal and a dessert for £8.95 my friend had fish and chips and I chose from the very impressive carvery. I had an enormous portion of beef and then a huge choice of vegetables. Unfortunately having eaten the delicious meals we... More

We took a friend for lunch and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Service was efficient and friendly despite being remarkably busy. I'm pleased to say that the overall bill was very reasonable indeed. I would have no hesitation in returning to this popular restaurant.

After having worked at this restaurant a few years ago, my partner and I decided we'd pop in for some food and to see how it is going there now. When we got there, the young girl on the bar was very friendly and welcoming and showed us the man to go to for a table for two. It was... More

My husband and I took my daughter, who lives in Worcester, to the Eagle and Sun midweek for some tea. Place is nice, we all had the carvery, which was lovely with plenty of choice for vegetables. All the staff were lovely, man serving the meat was very abrupt but we would go back.

Mainly visit this place during the week at lunchtime for the carvery, but it is very good value and an above average carvery. There is an extensive selection of vegetables and the meats are tasty and well cooked. It is worth noting that the pensioners carvery is very good value as for £8.95 you get the dessert included as well.... More
