Under New Management since November 2014. At The Eagle and Sun we offer a traditional Carvery and Steakhouse, good wine and fine Real Ales and a welcoming smile! Our aim is to bring you fresh, locally sourced, highest quality food from our kitchen direct to your table. Our Traditional Carvery has a choice of 3 meats and a variety of 14 fresh seasonal vegetables not forgetting our homemade Gravy and Yorkshire puddings ... Watch the Yorkshire puddings rise before your eyes! Our Carvery is served 7 days a week Monday to Saturday Lunch 12pm - 2:30pm Evening 6pm - 8:30pm Sunday Carvery served All day 12pm - 8.30pm. I came in for a few hours. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I had soup of the day with a pork baguette absoultly lovely.

Sorry Only Guide Dogs in the Bar and Restaurant. But these is plenty of space in the canalside gardens with tables and benches overlooking the Narrow Boats. Food can also be served in the garden!
