Me and my boyfriend visited today and I have to say had a very nice meal. I had the steak and he has the steak and ale pie, maybe a little over cooked for a medium steak but it was edible so I never complained. Our server was nice to. Only downside was a bit of a wait by the... More

We did not book a table and the staff found us a table for the two of us. We thought they had forgotten our drinks but just as I went to ask they were brought over. We had a two for one from the specials board. Both meals were good. A good selection both on the specials board and on... More

The pub appears to be a little run down, the varnish on the tables is virtually non existant in places. The food is microwaved, or it certainly appeared to be, and was not very tasty. Service was wishy washy, it seemed to be available when they remembered you were there!! Would not recommend.

After 55 minutes, no sign of our food so we asked a waitress, to be told that we should have been told there was... More

walked in and sign said wait here to be seated?? stood a while ,few diners seated(4) and was told to take a seat anywhere!!No one really interested in serving us and staff members on break ?seemed to get preferential treatment? Food was two for one which makes an odd number more expensive and very average would NOT be going back

Drinks were ordered and then food from quite a choice on.the menu / specials board. Our food came and was nice, quite a decent size meal, would... More
