We ordered the jerk swordfish from the special edition menu. Sadly we found it very bland, no hint of jerk flavouring and with the sliced potatoes it looked quite anaemic. However the service was excellent and staff were lovely.

For other regulars, note that the menu is now more restricted. Less seafood, some items, indeed favourites, missing or not available that evening. Good stuff there but restricted in choice.

Very good hot lunch. Good staffing. Thank you. Delicious food, varied menu and much better than other branches of this restaurant!

We had a lunch with a group of colleagues, and this was my first visit to Loch Fyne chain. I have always been quite sceptical about restaurant chains, and this visit only reaffirmed that perception. It is an ok place, prices for lunch were fair - but the 'normal' menu is a rip off considering the quality of food (it... More

We have visited here a couple of times. Most recently table for 3 (glad we booked) on Sunday January 8th. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was just as nice. Got a warm welcome from the host and a nice table. Menu is very varied and we struggled a bit because we couldnt make up our minds . It... More

We went for a Sunday lunch. The place is nice and it was not too crowded, which is nice. The service was attentive, so all good so far. The food is quite average, pleasant but not exactly a memorable experience. Our bill was wrong and we had to explain and then it got fixed. All in all, average.

I'm surprised to read the previous reviews, did we go to the same place? Loch fyne in Egham that evening had a lovely atmosphere and the food was exquisite. I did have the haggis, neeps and tatties and really enjoyed it, My daughter had the mussels and she couldn't get enough. The piper was great and my son in law... More

This admittedly was a bit of a disappointment. The staff was very nice and helpful, but both the presentation of the food and the taste experience was disappointing. I had as a starter the Haggis which was presented as three lumps of mush next to another with a small slicer of Harris in the middle. This was followed by the... More

My first visit to a Loch Fyne restaurant and wholly unimpressed. The tickets we bought for the Burns Night event were a decent price at £25, the access to and location of the place were excellent as was the service we received, but sadly the main event was the food which at best was mediocre and luke warm. The mainly... More

This visit was a strange one... we had booked a table for 8pm. On arrival, we were asked to sit and wait with drinks menus while the table was prepared. I could see that there were a few tables ready at this point. We weren't asked if we wanted to order drinks. We were shown to a table 10 minutes... More
