Love to visit here as we really miss the cream teas when we go home! Just the most perfect treat. Warm scones, jam and clotted cream. Great staff, quirky place, just perfect.

We dropped in for a late lunch whilst visiting Fowey , it was busy at the time but the owner found us a table for two at the back of the narrow courtyard . I had a crab sandwich and my wife had a cream tea , the sandwich was very nice but the homemade scones were absolutely amazing and... More

Pleasant to sit in the (small) garden on the one sunny day of our short sojourn in Cornwall and (for my wife) to enjoy a cream tea. Don't expect fast food - the scones are warmed in the Rayburn ... I'm told it was delicious!

There is nothing quite like a Cornish cream tea and the choice of tea here is vast. I had an Indian earl grey, which was perfect as it was mid morning. The scone were perfectly warmed and plenty of clotted cream and jam. My wife tried the gooseberry jam for a change, clearly homemade and delicious. My teenage son, as... More

Originally just planning on popping by to see a friend and work but honestly couldn't resist the glories selection of cakes available- homemade! Also interiors are so classical - very homely.

A real old style tea room. All freshly baked in house. Beautiful old building. Tastefully fitted. Patio garden is favourite if you can get a table there. Lovely staff. Get what you pay for; fresh scones and choices of jam. Took two friends visiting Fowey for the first time. They loved it.

We have walked past this tea shop on many occasions when visiting Fowey and why we haven't tried it before I really don't know! It's like being in someone's house and garden. We sat in the garden, which is small but nicely sheltered and shaded. The menu has everything you'd expect to see on it and there are 'specials.' The... More

Yesterday afternoon we had the misfortune to visit the Dwelling House during our family holiday. My elderly mother wanted to enjoy an afternoon tea in Fowey as it was a holiday destination she held fondly from when my late father was alive. We came across The Dwelling House and ventured inside to see if we could have afternoon tea and... More

We enjoyed one of the very best cream teas we've ever eaten at this delightful cafe. Scones were fresh out of the oven, big, light, and fruity. There was endless home-made jam and cream - "just tell us if you want some more" - and a super choice of drinks, cakes, and sandwiches. A couple of months previously we'd taken... More

This place has excellent customer service from lovely staff. We visited here after reading the reviews as we have a dog and were hoping that their garden area was dog friendly....it was and they happily unlocked the side gate for us to gain access, followed by the offer of a bowl of water for our dog. The waitress very kindly... More
