Spent the day in Fowey on a Monday and found several shops/tea rooms closed so we tried The Dwelling House. We were cordially greeted by the owner on entering who enthusiastically detailed the various cakes and teas on offer. Having chosen our various choices of cake and teas we made ourselves comfortable in this rather old fashioned but comfortable tea... More

Visited for breakfast and the lady kindly went out of her way and made Porridge for my partner. This is an Old fashioned tea room that had fantastic looking cakes, with all the staff very welcoming.

This place has a really good menu for tea, including its own tea and Tregothnan teas, plus delicious scones, cakes etc Nice large teapots with built in strainers, plenty of hot water and milk. Even a cosy warm blazing fire.

Have been in a few times as a local to Fowey and I am never disappointed the choice of different coffee and tea is good and the cakes are always freshly baked and delucious

A lovely venue for lunch with home made dishes and serving Tregothan teas in a large pot with plenty of hot water. The crab sandwich was superb as was the home made soup. Beautiful old building with a lovely bathroom, flags on the floor and very friendly staff.

Large teapot arrived with spare hot water, and plenty of fresh milk. Tea Pot was self filtering, and you can buy these at a very reasonable price from the shop itself, really good design with large removable filter allowing plenty of room for the loose leaf tea to brew perfectly. Choice of tea is excellent, as is the quality provided.... More

The food is just delicious. Love the Cornish rarebit and the cream tea is perfect! The little garden is pretty and the service is friendly and quick.

The cakes are amazing and are all made on site. They have special tea's to try. The best thing for us was the cream teas, they are the best we've ever had.

Quaint and traditional and with an intimate courtyard garden. Good menus choices and great value for money. Staff are lovely and it has a cosy family feel. The best raspberry jam I ever tasted!

This place is wonderful! It's a quaint little vintage house with homemade scones and cakes. The smell as you walk in is mouth watering. Feels like going into a Victorian kitchen. The decor is like a vintage tea room - quirky! The staff were second to none, the menu has lots of choices for omelettes, sandwiches, loose teas, cream teas... More
