We visited here for lunch today. Prawn baguette and tuna sandwich followed by sticky toffee cake. Both of our lunches were excellent and the homemade nachos were brilliant. Service was super quick and all the staff were friendly. Looking forward to going back here in future. Sarah and Wilma.

Scones a little dry and rocky road not made out of great chocolate. A little old fashioned in style but could forgive that if our cakes had been of better quality. Also, we had to repeat our straightforward order to the waitress three times and she still got it wrong.

On Whisky tour and found this place by chance. Excellent choice and friendly staff, really busy for a Wednesday lunchtime and deservedly so. If ever in area again will come back.

I visted Chaplins with my mum, on a busy Sunday. It’s a cute little café with plenty of lunch items on offer. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but the staff were very apologetic so we weren’t too fussed and appreciated their apologies. I ordered a chicken mayonnaise baguette and my mum ordered a beef burger.... More

Although it was a rather cool and rainy day, when we saw Chaplin's, we decided we needed to try the ice cream. We were glad we did! We also purchased a couple of fruit scones, and they were equally delicious!

This is one of the many coffee shops on the High Street. We enjoyed being able to have our coffee and scones outside - try the apple and cinnamon scone!

Very rude and unfriendly service, ice cream cones were very expensive and not the flavour we ordered. Would not return 😟

We had lunch at Chaplins and regarded it as a perfectly good cafe for a drink and casual food. The tomato soup was OK and prawn sandwich fresh and garnished with salad and a small number of potato pieces. We thought it was rather expensive for the portion size. Staff were helpful and friendly. The place was very crowded and... More
