its just worth a visit for the brekfast and and milky coffee, the lunches are great good portion sizes great liver and onion, homemade pie, its worthn checking out they tables outside go for lunch before the circus, just near the hippodrome.

After having two meals in so called restaurants, to have this great little cafe recommend to us was fantastic. A full English breakfast with tea or coffee was only £3.50!!! Service fantastic, food freshly cooked and hot. Amazing home cooked foods at fantastic budget prices!...More

It's where the locals go to fix the night before bad heads or just to get a decent feed at decent cost.. Hidden away and not to big, but always busy.... Says a lot to me.

Visited as reccomended by family member. Nice to here all those local accents rare nowadays. Food was good value and left satisfied. Definetly reccomend for the old time charm and good value. Will try steak pie next time.
