What a great chip shop and cafe, if your looking for fresh fish and chips and all the usual burgers etc., this is the place to go. Great value and everything is cooked fresh, it's mouth watering!

Quick service eat in or takeaway. Nice fresh fish. Perfect chips. Good kids options. Avoid the 5 o'clock rush.

A colleague and I came here for diner while working in the area. The restaurant was so wee and cosy and reminded me of an old school chipper. The lass serving us gave us cans instead of bottles of irn bru like we asked and once we had paid and left we also realised that she didn't even charge us... More

Best fish and chip shop I've visited. Expensive but worth it for the taste of the food. The downside to this place is its staff. Most of them and two in particular (a slim blonde middle aged lady and a large dark haired older lady) is very rude and has no manners what so ever. Great food. Shame about the... More

Nothing fancy with the decor, it is a chip shop cafe after all. The food speaks for itself, fresh and deep fried

After spending the day hiking, we were starving when we smelled fish and chips and walked into Fort Cafe. The display case was almost empty, as it was late lunch time, so we ordered from the board, 1 large fish and chips. Service was quick and friendly, and OMG, the order was huge! It was plenty for us to share.... More

This was beside our parking. Didn't want lunch so I had tea and toast, done as I asked. Staff very friendly.

Not a bad little chippie. The food was ok, and the chips were OK, but not great. The Glaswegian with us left some of her chips which suggests that they weren't totally top-notch. She was also dismayed there were no Scotch pies on offer, but deep fried pizza offered some redemption.

Came here on our first night in Lerwick and after struggling to find somewhere to eat, we unearthed this little gem. We were well looked after and everyone enjoyed their meal. Very reasonably priced and in a nice location. Would recommend to anyone.

We are lucky when we visit Shetland because my wife's family comes from here, so we get good recommendations. On our first trip for a few years, we took our cousin out for lunch, and we asked if there was a really good fish & chip shop in Lerwick. We had been eating great seafood in the evenings, but I...
