We had been given a voucher as a present and decided to book for Sunday lunch. They do two sittings at twelve and two and we went on the earlier sitting. Plenty of car park space at the rear. We were a party of four and were seated at a table where two of the seats were a settee against... More

Excellent lunch, beautifully presented. Attentive service A couple of minor points - it was quite noisy and we sometimes struggled to maintain a conversation. I'm not sure whether this was due to acoustics or because the party of diners next to us had been split over 2 tables and spend the meal shouting across at each other. Also, my Mum... More

First visit and we were all impressed.. With the decor the atmosphere the service and lastly the food.. No negatives.. Would recommend and we will go back.. We all had the lamb which was very modern in the way it was served little dishes for mint sauce & gravy boat per person.. Contemporary dinnerware.. It was my sons birthday and... More

Our latest visit was mid week, not so busy and as usual food excellent. The food can be incredible and the odd times maybe not quite so fabulous but compared to others locally still in the top few great restaurants around. Staff are always attentive and friendly. Drinks arrive on time and you can dress up or down! Can be... More

We came as a party of four-we all enjoyed each course and we had ordered a variety of dishes including soup, a tart, fish. I can't remember exactly what else but it was a really lovely experience. It's a little way out if you don't know the area but well worth it!

After hearing so many positive reviews about the place I thought it was about time I tried it myself. All I can say is wow. The food was superb and the service was spot on. Our waiter checked on us throughout the meal which was nice to see as it doesn't happen in many places. Overall it was a great... More

Visited after seeing the great reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Cosy, warm and intimate interior, attentive staff and excellent food.Instantly became a favourite and we are looking to return again soon. The thing that marks places like this out from others is the slightly adventurous food combinations which make the menu so memorable. We went with another... More

Fantastic service from start to finish. Richard was a great host and made us both welcome from the onset. We had a drink before at the bar before being shown to the table. Food was outstanding and the hake was cooked to perfection. It's not very often that I can't finish a cheeseboard but in this occasion I was beaten.... More

Have been here many times before. Haven't been in a while but glad I came back. Excellent food, and service (as always). Fab food and wine choices. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming again!
