Lovely garden to enjoy a quiet lunch during our walk of the Solent way. Food was good, service was good and a good selection of drinks.

Six of us camping in the nearby Hurst View campsite - decided to have a pub lunch and this place was the perfect choice. We all had starters and requested that we leave ordering the main course for an hour or so in order to not feel hurried. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was gorgeous and... After a walk along the shore from Leamington Marina the cool bar was a pleasant change from the temperature outside(hottest day of the year so far). The menu covered everything from filled baguettes to a full cooked meal.A good selection of beers kept at a cool but not ice cold temperature.Ample room inside as well as in the garden under shaded... Wanted to write a review after recently visiting this pub for lunch whilst on holiday. I am vegetarian and as you can imagine, try a large assortment of risottos in restaurants! This one was by far the best I have had. Pea, Chilli, Mint and Parmesan I think it was. really tasty, freshly cooked and good sized portion. Staff were... More

We were made welcome by the staff and allowed to take shelter on a wet afternoon for many hours, and were well fed and well watered. Loved the rope pulley system to open the door!

Called in for Sunday lunch - clearly a busy time for this pub. Portions for the Sunday dinner were adequate rather than generous but the food was very nice. Be warned though if you are not a dog lover…..dogs are very welcome to the point of out numbering the human guests.

after a long day walking we booked here and despite being full they went out of their way to get us in , making the pub dog move his bed in the process!. Food is great quality I had cornish sole and it was beautiful. They accommodate dogs in the bar area and the service was friendly and efficient .... More

Having walked from keyhaven in sun and humidity, we were ready for a lager and a bite to eat. Opted for garlic mushrooms with Stilton served with crusty bread. Absolutely delicious and decent portion size. Most definitely will return but as a non local, perhaps the chap behind the bar might have been more friendly and welcoming. Only a small... More
