My wife and I had earmarked a visit to either Sophie's or Lounges for our Sunday snack only to find that Sophie's had closed down - see photo attached. I don't know how long ago this happened or the circumstances behind the closure as it...More

Visitors to town, on a rainy Sunday, after a quick coastal path walk we were in need of a pot of tea. Sophie's was busy but had a few free tables, we were in. There is an extensive list of teas by Teapigs , we...More

Went to Sophies in Jan this year. Quite a limited menu, cakes were ok but you can get far better elsewhere in lymington. A bit of a disappointment, can't see us going back as far better places in lymington.

We stopped by Sophie's for coffee and cake late afternoon one Saturday whilst visiting Lymington. Sophie's seemed to fit the bill - and there was room inside too, so a good option. We ordered - and then things went a bit awry. Tea with the...More

A friend and I fancied a change of meeting venue one Saturday morning so we tried Sophie's. There were three young girls behind the counter, one of whom was so busy applying her makeup, facing the customers, she did not greet us, as did the...More

We visited today to have lunch but would not return. The manager was not welcoming and seemed to intimidate the very lovely girls that were trying really hard to serve us. The room had no atmosphere and we felt like an inconvenience right from the...More

Was really hungry and ordered a panini and cappucinno. The front room was busy so I followed the sign to 'more seating' in the back room. The cappucinno came promptly but I was then forgotten about and had to remind them of my existence. I...More

Looks lovely from the outside, and quite quaint inside, but that's about as good as it gets. The service was slow, and the tables dirty. I had to clean the highchair myself before putting our son in it. The food was also disappointing - the...More

Description
Named after our two year old daughter, who likes cake, Sophie's is a family run business in Lymington's cobble quay hill. We're fully trained baristas who serve up proper coffee and homemade slices of cake that our nans would be proud of.
