We visited the Hobler a couple of nights ago for an evening meal. The pea and fennel broth with grey mullet (a special) was one of the best starters I've ever tasted, followed by a delicious venison stew with pearl barley. Highly recommend!

It’s typical gastropub fare. Sharing platters, sandwiches, steaks, and the usual main courses you’d expect from a good pub - ham, egg and chips; lasagne; steak and ale pie; lamb shank etc.

Depends on the day and the number of people. If it's a weekend day or a large group of you then I would definitely suggest you book.

I think you'll find that the pub is actually in Boldre albeit along the main road.
