The waiter here was really friendly and even thought we hadn't booked and it was busy we were well catered for. The lunchtime special of 3 tapas each and a glass of house wine for £10 was particularly tasty and good value for money so would highly recommend eating here if you are in Lymington

Had dinner Saturday night. The food was superb, service excellent and great value for money. Couldn't fault a thing and will be back very soon.

Went for dinner. The patio is very nice for drinks and perhaps an hors-d'oeuvre. Two different menus one for the bistro and one for burcher room. The salmon which was overcooked but reasonably good. Wives had the mushroom and chestnut cottage pie, which was basically inedible, very dry and taste less. Obviously trying to be up scale but just not... More

Dropped in here while in Lymington for a coffee. Service was exceptional and staff very friendly. Cannot comment on food as didn't eat but sitting in veranda having a coffee here is a very pleasant place to be. Free Wi-Fi too..

Satisfied with service. Designer tables had gaping holes in them, reducing usable surface area significantly on my particular table...what value did this give? I only eat fish. Menu suggested 'locally caught fish of the day', this was Tuna or Salmon only. Lymington has well stocked waters it would seem. I had Tuna, but nothing came with it. 5 small carrots... More

Having visited regularly for the last three years and enjoyed the food, service and general value for money, really disappointed to have a very different experience yesterday when my wife and I popped in for breakfast. Service slow, uninterested and no evidence of any level of management or supervision. All that remains is a fairly high pricing structure, well beyond... More

Rather disappointed at lack of choices on the menu. Clearly a mistake to offer locally caught fish when all that is on offer is Tuna or salmon. Really? I've never seen tuna around these waters. And no side veg included is very mean. Best choice is to go for lots of small starter dishes. And don't put up with being... More

We were seated in the conservatory which was very nice. The six of us had an afternoon tea which was very nice and well presented.

We visited here for my mothers birthday. We had pre booked and paid a £100.00 deposit for 10 people. We had booked into the restaurant that was not the bistro and were sat in the bistro and given a completely different menu to the one shown upon reservation. Some of our party had pre ordered food which was had not... More

Really enjoyed our evening, the menu was really creative and the food was beautifully presented as well as delicious. Service was helpful and very attentive. Love the fact that you could sit in the conservatory and relax with a drink after dinner.
