We went in for breakfast and ordered sausage barms, they were just awful. The cheapest sausages going and deep fried. Felt like we had to eat them as we paid £3.50 for each one. The staff were pleasant enough, the only saving grace. I won't be going back in a hurry.

Visited her for lunch yesterday - walked in to be faced with dirty pots on every empty table. Despite this we decided to say and promptly removed all of the dirty pots ourselves. The café itself was airless and very hot - still not sure why we stayed - however we did and two of us ordered ham omelette and... More

I am surprised at some of the reviews for this cafe, we come here regularly and always the food has been delicious and the staff very friendly. Granted we usually come early and have breakfast but we never have anything to complain about. It can get very busy around lunchtime and you may have to be patient then, but the... More

Ordered baked potato with coleslaw. It was awful - looked and tasted dreadful. I asked for it to be replaced and it was ...... with something exactly the same. I couldn't eat it and didn't want a fuss as I was with friends. Nobody checked back to see if things were okay. They weren't, and I won't ever return.

I have experienced very slow service at this cafe and on my second visit I was ignored completely. I won't be going back. Once the food does finally turn up though it is ok.

Forget your swanky Lytham eateries, and posh coffee shops, if you want a well cooked , traditional all day breakfast, and good hot milky coffee, then The Chattery is the place. Ok, the interior and facilities are dated, but this sort of adds to the charm. They serve a simple menu at reasonable prices. Great.

I heard that this cafe served nice food so I tried a 'Large Breakfast'. A truly debatable description. The sausages were of really poor quality. What you might expect in a cheap Blackpool cafe. The oil used for cooking the egg needed changing as it left a nasty after taste. All served on a cold plate so consequently I had... More
