The food is always good. We got served quickly and efficiently and the staff were very attentive. The pub was lovely and warm and the atmosphere is good. Having tried many a dish on the menu, you won't be disappointed.

Sunday lunch, definitely not the usual very good standards of the food served here. The meat was really lovely, melt in the mouth. Downhill from there, no choice of veg if you like soggy boiled parsnips 8 peas and 5 tiny rounds of carrot, loads of soggy leeks you'll love it. The vegetables really were a total let down. Yorkshire... More

This is a very good place to go the food is good but sometimes we go in for just a coffee and a drink the staff are very helpful and let you set and rest without keep asking you if you would like to see the menu. Top Place

Top of the pastry was soggy the top burnt and hard to cut. The veg underneath was all mixed up It didn't look attractive The dessert was good and the service was fine. My chair was rickety and I felt that it was about to fall apart In the back room is an old sofa which could do with some... More

We had a lovely relaxed Sunday lunch at the White Hart. Staff were very attentive and efficient. The Sunday lunch was lovely. Nice amount of meat and good range of vegetables. Can't wait to go back

Well worth a visit for a hearty pub lunch. There is a good range of ales available and the menu offers a variety of classic pub meals. Meals are tasty, generous and filling. The atmosphere in the pub is welcoming and homely, particularly when the open fire is on.

I visited the Hart this week for a lunch time pint. The cheese and chutney sandwich along with a bowl of skinny chips was a superb mid day stomach filler (I may have to make it a regular thing). The bar staff Alysia, Rosie, Olivia and Lydia are all extremely welcoming and made us feel very welcome. I would highly... More

I love this pub, having spent years visiting, i'm now lucky enough to have it as my local. The food is brilliant, the service from the staff welcoming, and the fire always warm! I am equally happy drinking with friends as well as bringing my wife and children for great food. There is something for everyone - from young drinkers... More

Went for Sunday lunch after having a leisurely walk. Hadn't booked but despite being busy, we were greeted by very friendly staff and quickly found a table. We decided to sit in a bar by the roaring open fire. We both had roast, great value we thought at £10 - food arrived promptly and was delicious. Service throughout was efficient... More
