Visited the Blue Ball with family. The service was good, staff were very friendly. The food was good, nicely presented and very tasty. All in all I would recommend the Blue Ball for a visit and would go again myself.

I make it a of stopping here for a couple of pints and a tasty repast whenever I pass through Rutland. Always enjoyable, especially when the fires warm away the winter's cold and dampness.

We love this family friendly, pretty country pub, especially in winter with the log fires blazing. Whenever we want a family get together with the grandparents and kids, we head to The Blue Ball because we've not been disappointed yet. It helps that they cook to order, so are happy to accommodate everyone. We like to take a bit of... More

Although we don't visit as often as we would like to we had another lovely meal last night. The food was delicious, service great and the pub is always a lovely place to spend time in as the decor is gorgeous. Thank you Dom, Pip and staff!

Well established public house. I do believe that this is an old pub but not sure how old ( Google it).

Lovely welcoming atmosphere in this country pub, very relaxing, log fires, newspapers and magazines, bliss! The service was discreet and excellent, succulent roast beef, and plenty of vegetables. Couldn't resist a delicious pudding and all for a very fair price.

A friendly pub that serves good food. I visited as a foursome and all of us enjoyed the surroundings and the food. Friendly staff and a good reservation service.

Booked for a family luncheon for the Sunday Roast. From the popularity I would say bookings are essential as all tables were full. Despite being busy could not fault the service from the staff and the quality of the food. Would definitely go again.
