Having visited the Eagle with friends for Sunday lunch, we thought we would give it another go during the week. Good decision ! The staff are friendly, the food was hot and well presented, and there was plenty of choice for us veggies.

This place doesn't look great on the outside, but has a really nice beer garden and pleasant bar interior. Dog friendly as well. Had Sunday lunch which was really good, plenty of fresh veg, really tasty cauliflower cheese. All in all a winner. Staff friendly well worth a visit.

we were looking for a place for lunch and a local lady said the Eagle is good. so we called in to try it, all I can say is we were blown away by the food, everything was prepared fresh so took a little while but it was certainly worth waiting for.

We called in the Eagle for a drink and some lunch. The 'door stopper sandwich' is a challenge and well worth a try!

As a Cask Marque Ambassador, I like to visit Cask Marque pubs when I travel and this is one such pub. It looks like a traditional pub on the outside but when you step inside it's been refurbished in to a modern sports bar. Personally I liked the décor but that's secondary as I am there for the real ale!... More

Had Sunday Lunch & was the best Sunday Lunch I've ever eaten out! Cauliflower cheese was stunning as was the homemade Yorkshire pudding. Great warm welcoming atmosphere with a fantastic sports bar across a unique beer garden! A fab day had by all would highly recommend :)

I've had mixed experiences in the Eagle... got told off by the bar lady because I ordered a Guiness last so would have to wait... not exactly friendly... But today we fancied a roast dinner and the food gets good reviews. Luckily the moody bar lady wasn't in there. The staff were actually really friendly. The roast lunch was quite... More

Spent a couple of afternoons here with friends. Very friendly staff, good beer and value for money. At the rear, there is a annex building, with sky sports, bar and four pool tables, free to use.

Thank Paul C
