Very good Indian meal. Interesting old building with wonderfully friendly staff. The locals were happy to chat with us, a great night.

Lovely young man running the restaurant who was very conscious that guests were happy.. Food was just delicious and staff in pub made sure we had drinks topped up. very friendly all... More

The Indian meal we had at the The Crown was tasty. Service was good, friendly and it was nice to eat at a table with a starched linen tablecloth. Drinks were brought in from the bar to the restaurant area by wait staff.

Popped in for a quick drink as we were staying locally. Looked quaint from the outside. However, as a non indian food fan - the smell was a bit over powering in the inside bar area. Pub is very pocky but does have a pool table and dart table. Sadly to even pop outside to enjoy your drink, you have... More

Five stars are not enough. Our visit for daughter's birthday could not have been better. Abdul is the perfect host. Friendly, informative and obliging. A fantastic choice of meals some well known, others new to us were all reasonably priced and our choices tasted so good. Abdul then treated us to an extra meal between us that is going to... More

Great service, friendly staff and the food is one of the best Indian meals I have tasted. We were a party of four and nothing was too much trouble. Very varied menu and they will cater to your requirements, hotter or milder if you wish. Very reasonably priced. Thankyou for a lovely evening. We will be back!

This is what I call a 'Proper pub!' Really friendly hosts and the locals were all chatty and charming. Real Ale was well kept and really good. Has it's own Indian Restaurant within, but even though it is just through an opening towards the rear of the pub, it's like being totally separate. Food and service in the restaurant was... More

We went here for a family meal. The service was excellent and the decor was welcoming. The food was very tasty and the presentation was modern and fresh. Overall, a very good Indian restaurant in a busy and friendly pub.

We have just come back from an really great meal with my family. This was our 1st visit and we were really pleased we made the trip out, on our arrival at the crown we were made very welcome. Admittedly we were the only ones in the restaurant but we weren't overly looked after. Our host Abdul was attentive and... More
