We stopped in for tea and cake whilst we were working out what to do and see in Ross. We're really glad we did as it was great. Obviously very popular, and deservedly so. A choice of teas available - all looseleaf - so I got my tea how I like it. My husband thought his coffee was very good... More

We stumbled upon this little cafe on our visit to Ross. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs - even rustling up a bowl of delicious lentil and smoky bacon soup for lunch at 3pm! Having tucked in with relish, my husband was then eyeing up the tempting selection of home made cakes and lamenting the... More

We are connoisseurs of cream teas available within driving distance of Malvern. This is either the best or next best so far (we will have to visit the two contenders at least twice more in order to make a final judgment). Two fresh warmed scones with a choice of delicious jams plus cream served properly (not in the sealed plastic... More

This small cafe and gift shop is well worth visiting. There is an enticing array of cakes in the window to tempt the passer-by and a wide range of light snacks.

We came on holiday to the area and having read the reviews, we decided that this was a must visit. Food was ok, we both had quiche but it was soggy as if it had been reheated. Salad was drowned in balsamic so couldn't eat it never mind enjoy. The service wasn't up to standard either, we weren't asked if... More

Oh! Sorry. As you can see from the previous reviews this isn't the normal experience people have. Sorry you were not given the high level of service we normally give. If you had let us know your meal wasn't to your satisfaction we would have sorted it out for you. More

Pots and Pieces is a charming little cafe with a great selection of homemade cakes and snacks. The beef goulash soup is to die for, so definitely try this if you see it on the specials board!

Lovely little cafe with a decent cup of tea and generously filled sandwiches which are made to order. While we were there a few cyclists purchased food and drink "to go" and were offered water bottle refills as part of the service. Also able to provide gluten and dairy free options.

Thanks for your fabulous review. Yes, we are always happy to top cyclists up with water (and other goodies!) as we have a lot coming through Ross-on-Wye on the Lands End to John o' Groats route. Glad you enjoyed your visit so much and we hope to see you again sometime. More
