We struggled to find anywhere to eat in Ross on wye so stopped her when driving past. Was very busy but lots of space. Good and drink was ok but nothing special. Lots of kids around. It serves it's purpose.

Had an odd experience here. A group of 14 were booked in (pushed up to 15 on the night, but that wasn't a problem). As there were 4 families, we all ordered at the same time, both sets of starters came at once, good start, however, we'd ordered garlic bread to come as a starter and another one of our... More

Ate lunch and dinner here. Both meals super tasty. Amazing gravy, perfectly cooked steak. Nice choices available, good selection of ciders on tap (though could do with some more ales), big garden at the back with loads of tables and good sun trap. Walking distance to campsites etc.

The old Court is steeped in history and has 10 rooms with beams, the rest of the rooms are in a new annexe and are very small and featureless, but adequate. So if you are booking the cheaper rooms you will be in the annexe. The bar is delightful and has a very good menu. If you book dinner at... More

Stopped in for dinner partner gad been day before and said was great. Food was lovely and served quickly at fair price for quality of food and in comparison to other places locally. Huge garden with a play area for kids. Would happily come again.

I have visited this restaurant many times over the years. It is good honest pub grub at a reasonable price. The surroundings are lovely and the garden to the rear of the hotel has plenty of seating and is nicely appointed with views over the hills. There is a large choice of food on the menu and it is scratch... More

Stayed in two self catering apartments. All the facilities you need for a comfortable stay with a family. The restaurant serves excellent local food. Freshly cooked in interesting, comfortable surroundings. For a special treat eat in the Grand Hall. Huge garden with play area. And the hotel and apartments are dog friendly so the whole family can enjoy the stay.... More

Absolutely beautiful food! We were extremely grateful for the care taken in making my daughters food who has severe allergies-much appreciated! The food was delicious and very filling. Beautiful gardens and outdoor seating area. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you

I only had a chicken breast burger with chips and salad but the quality of all of the above was outstanding and really good value, compared to other restaurants. Looking at the other meals that were being served around me and some of the oohs and aahs, I'm guessing there were a few more pleased guests that night. breakfast the... More
