Came here again as we visited two years ago and were impressed, it hadn't changed a bit, the people are very friendly and unassuming. The food was really nice we had the spicy chicken thigh (21) comes with four different components, the coconut rice, and the Kathmandu curry, (fish) which surprisingly was salmon, really tasty. The decor and toilets, tables... More

We were looking forward to eating Nepalese food in a place which gets such a high rating, having eaten Ghurka food in Lerwick, Shetland Islands, the best curry we had ever had. We were disappointed with Yaks and Yetis, it appeared all their curries were similar, just varied in heat, the menu was pretty limited and pricey in comparison with... More

Right from the start a very warm welcome, they couldn't have done anymore to make our visit better. We went on a Thursday night and it was fairly quiet but still plenty of custom. With the assistance of the waiter we chose food we hadn't tried before. Thank God we did. My wife and I had different chicken dishes and... More

Definitely different from an Indian. A light touch to the spices & absolutely gorgeous food. Wish they were nearer.

We booked Yaks and Yetis after friends recommended it. Often driven passed without giving it a second thought. The staff were very friendly and the food amazing. Delecate flavours. Great starter and mains. Too full for a dessert. All very reasonable, we will defiantly return again soon.

Lovely, interesting food, sensibly priced. Something a little different. Also try the Gurkha beer. Flavours abound and the staff a friendly and very welcoming.

We had a wonderful meal here. Top notch food and lovely staff who obviously had a good relationship with the local clientele. The most welcome surprise for me was that even though I'm lactose intolerant I could eat almost everything off the menu! So exciting when I usually have a very small choice. Also, everything is made fresh so you... More

We visited expecting it to be like a usual curry house, it wasn't , it was lots better. Being Nepalese it was like a curry Thai fusion. Very friendly staff, definately enjoyed it.
