When it was served it looked completely different to the previous salad I had ordered a couple of months back ......... On starting to eat the salad it... More

Visited recently with family. Lovely friendly pub which is very dog friendly, I am a dog lover but felt that the presence of a strange dog by my dinner table was off putting. Feel that dogs could be restricted to the bar area. Food itself was very good, limited starter selection and my nachos were quite bland but the main... More

Having eaten at this pub several times in the past have just been in for a sunday lunch beverage and paid almost £12.00 for two pints and a half pint. Wont be doing that too often im afraid. No wonder the pub trade is dying out as a watering hole. Lovely pub though.

Had dinner with an old school friend and partner who picked the restaurant. Good menu that gives you the choice of large and small portions, ideal for those with small appetite

Recently visited whilst out on a walk with some friends. Warm friendly welcome and a lovely pub. We didn't get the chance to eat as was on a time limit but we had a few drinks between us and a few nibbles. We did however spot some meals on other tables and they all looked and smelled superb! We will... More

We booked a lunch for 4. We all ate different meals which came out very quickly, well cooked and presented. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The dog was made very welcome given biscuits and water. Would definitely eat there again. Have already booked to go back They do small meals for children and for people with smaller appetites

We stayed just up the road at Langstone Manor and needed a good meal - this was perfect, fabulous menu for a pub buried on the moors. And full of locals nattering away. Charming.

Visited after a day at Bovey Tracey Craft Fair. Children's menu was great, choice of main, dessert and drink for £5.95. The adults had steak and jail ale pie, very tasty served with delicious chips, peas and a jug of gravy. Enjoyed drinking the local beer. Very relaxed and very friendly pub, the waitress who originated from Poland was charming.... More
